Who we are
Vibe Check (trading as Studio Vibe Check) is operated by Amy Waterston, a sole trader based in England, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us any time at info@studiovibecheck.com.
What we collect & why
- Account data — name, email, hashed password or social sign-in identifier. Used to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract.
- Quiz & planning content — the bride's name, event details, custom questions, answers, uploaded photos, guest names, phone numbers, and any notes you add. Used to deliver the planning features you've purchased. Legal basis: contract.
- Guest responses — answers and contact info that guests submit through the Squad Quiz. Used to compile group results for the maid of honour. Legal basis: contract / legitimate interests.
- Payment data — handled by Paddle. We receive a transaction reference, the tier purchased, and your billing email; we do not see or store full card details. Legal basis: contract.
- Usage & device data — basic logs, IP address, and browser information used to keep the service running and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support emails — anything you send us at info@studiovibecheck.com. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers (sub-processors):
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Receives data needed to process payments, sales tax, refunds, and invoicing.
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication.
- Cloudflare — hosts and serves the app.
- AI providers — process your prompts and quiz inputs to generate suggestions, images, and itineraries. Inputs are not used to train their public models.
- Email delivery — sends transactional emails (account, receipts, notifications) from
info@studiovibecheck.com. - Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses to keep your data protected.
How long we keep data
We keep your account and planning data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll remove your data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons (typically 6 years for tax purposes).
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to keep your data safe. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
